Our origins and our destiny.

One Way Church of God in Christ boasts a rich history and a dynamic present, all under the grace of God. Located in the Foxcroft Community, it is our mission to combine faith and stewardship together that will impact the community with love for the glory of God.

Was

One Way Church was founded in 1978 by the late Tommy Lee Jackson, Sr., affectionately known as "Mailman Jackson." The church started with just Pastor Jackson's family. In 1997, Pastor Jackson acquired and renovated a three-room house to serve as the home of One Way C.O.G.I.C.

Was

In February 2012, One Way Church mourned the loss of a treasured member, First Lady Lonnie M. Jackson, and in January 2016, the cornerstone of One Way, Pastor Tommy Lee Jackson, Sr., passed away. During this period, our Pastor, from his sickbed, entrusted his son-in-law, Deacon Charles Rule, with the responsibility to lead the church forward in faith, a task he and his wife have embraced with love and unity.
